JRF in DRDO-sponsored project at the Energy Systems Research Lab @ IIT Gandhinagar At the Energy Systems Research Laboratory at IIT Gandhinagar, we specialize in the design of fuel cell systems, fuel reforming techniques, multi-scale modelling, and simulation.
Our group is currently seeking an outstanding candidate to strengthen our research team as Junior Research Fellow(s) in the DRDO-sponsored project on Demonstration of a Novel Compact, Lightweight Fuel Cell-based Power Pack Platform for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
Role highlight Learn advanced technologies and the complete engineering process to convert concepts to products. Ideate, design, build, integrate, test and validate a range of different technologies across mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and chemical engineering.

Qualification for IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment 2024
- BTech/ B.E. degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with GATE qualification (or other qualification as per DST guidelines)
- Candidate with hands-on experience in building experimental setups will be preferred; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in technical drawing, CAD and specification preparation is preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, willingness to learn and work with one’s hands to design and build a complete, novel, hi-tech engineering system from scratch.
Pay Scale for IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment 2024
Duration: The initial appointment will be for one year, which may be extended by a further year based on performance. Remuneration: ₹ 37,000.00 per month + 27% HRA1
