The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is seeking candidates of Indian nationality for project appointments in the Operational and Running Cost of the Joint Advanced Technology Centre project, funded by DRDO under the Ministry of Defence.
The appointments will be on a contractual basis with consolidated pay renewable yearly or up to the project duration, lasting until June 19, 2027. The project requires Junior Project Attendants (3 positions) and a Junior Project Assistant (Tech). Candidates must have at least a 12th pass qualification, with desirable skills including basic computer operation and a minimum of 3 years of similar working experience in an IIT or similar organization.
Additionally, candidates with a diploma or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or ITI (2 years duration) with relevant trade experience are eligible. The walk-in test/interview is scheduled for May 27, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the DRDO Industry Academia-Centre of Excellence (DIA-COE) located at IIT Delhi.

Qualifications Details for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
- Junior Project Attendant: 12th Pass, Desirable- The candidates should have basic skill in computer operation and should have at least 3 years similar working experience with any of the lITs or any other similar organization.
- Junior Project Assistant: Diploma (3 years duration)/ Graduate Degree in Mechanical Eng or ITI (2 years duration) in relevant trade with 6 years relevant work experience
Pay Scale for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
- Junior Project Attendant (03 positions) Fellowship Salary Scale: Rs. 24,300 - 25,030 - 25,780 - 26,550 - 27,350 - 28,170 - 29,010 - 29,880 - 30,780 - 31,700/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) at 27%.
- Junior Project Assistant (Technical) (01 position) Salary Scale: Rs. 29,290 - 30,170 - 31,080 - 32,010 - 32,970 - 33,960 - 34,980 - 36,030 - 37,100 - 38,220/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) at 27%.
