IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Research Fellow Vacancies, Check Eligibility at ird.iitd.ac.in
Indian nationals are invited to apply for a Project Appointment on a contractual basis for a project titled "Proposal for a near-unity efficiency and indistinguishability single-photon source and high-fidelity heralded controlled-NOT gate" funded by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) and led by Prof. Parvendra Kumar at the Optics and Photonics Centre of IIT Delhi.
The appointment is until February 4, 2026, with a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 31,000 per month plus 24% HRA. Candidates should hold an M.Sc./M.Tech in physics or optics with a minimum of 60% marks or 6 CGPA, along with NET/GATE qualification in the relevant subject.
Those with a background in quantum optics and simulation of photonic structures are preferred. Candidates must submit a filled Form No. IRD/REC-4 along with educational qualifications and work experience details via email to Prof. Parvendra Kumar. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the online interview. Eligibility criteria may be higher than advertised, and a 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for SC/ST candidates. The deadline for applications is April 20, 2024, by 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications Details for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
- M.Sc./M.Tech. in physics or optics related subjects, with minimum marks of 60% (or 6 CGPA on a scale of 10) and with NET/GATE* in the relevant subject. Background in quantum optics and simulation of photonic structures with FDTD/FEM-based software is desirable.
- The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical institutes (CFTls) with a CGPA of more than 8.0 (80% aggregate marks).
Pay Scale for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
