IIT Delhi is recruiting for the position of Project Scientist-II with one vacancy available. The deadline for application submission is April 26, 2024. The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of 75,600 rupees along with a 27% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology or related disciplines with a consistent first-class academic record. The project tenure is until January 31, 2027. Applicants should have research experience in Multiplexed RT-qPCR and developing molecular biology assays for the detection of class 2/3 pathogens. They should also have conducted clinical validation with RT-PCR on patient samples and have experience working in BSL2+ and BSL3 labs with pathogenic cultures.
The selection process involves shortlisting candidates for an interview, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified via email. IIT Delhi reserves the right to set higher criteria for shortlisting eligible candidates. SC/ST candidates may receive a 5% relaxation of marks, and retired/superannuated government employees' salaries will be fixed according to prevailing IRD norms.

- The individual earns a monthly salary of 75,600 rupees, with an additional House Rent Allowance (HRA) provided at a rate of 27%.
IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024 Qualification
- Candidate should have completed Ph.D in| Biotechnology/Molecular Biology or related disciplines with throughout first class in career. Project tenure til 31- 01-2027.
- Research experience in Multiplexed RT- qPCR. developing molecular biology assays for detection of class 2/3 pathogens, should have also carried out clinical validation with RT-PCR on patient samples.
- Should have complete hands on training in working in BSL2+ and BSL3 labs while maintaining pathogenic cultures. Pl attach CV separately. All experience criteria would be evaluated on the basis of thesis, publications and patent details. Kindly fill out these on separate sheet to be attached along with main IRD form as mentioned below.
Selection Process For IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
