Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is recruiting for the position of Junior Research Fellow, offering 05 vacancies. The salary for this role is set at Rs. 31,000 per month, complemented by a 24% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Applicants are required to possess a Ph.D. with first class or a 1st class M.E/M. Tech degree with NET/GATE qualification in Material Science and Engineering, Polymer Science, Organic Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Fibre Science and Technology, Textile Chemical Processing, Textile Technology/Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized institute/university. The requirement of NET/GATE examination may be relaxed for candidates graduating from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA exceeding 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).

Qualification for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
- Ph.D. with first class or 1st class M.E/ M. Tech with NET/GATE in Material Science and Engineering, Polymer Science, Organic Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Fibre Science and Technology, Textile Chemical Processing, Textile Technology/ Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized institute/university.
- The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTls) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
Salary for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2024
- The consolidated fellowship or pay-slab for this position amounts to Rs. 31,000 per month.
- Additionally, a House Rent Allowance (HRA) of 24% is provided on top of the basic pay.
