Qualifications Details for IIT Bombay Recruitment 2024
Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- A background in physics or engineering, with interests in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics is mandatory. Prior experience with the Linux operating environment and scientific Python programming is essential. Prior experience with the WRF suite of tools is desirable.
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
Pay Scale for IIT Bombay Recruitment 2024
- The position of Junior Research Fellow at IIT Bombay entails working on a temporary basis for a one-year period, specifically for a project focused on improving short-to-medium range extreme precipitation forecasts. The appointment is contingent upon the successful completion of the project, and candidates will be primarily engaged in project-related tasks.
- The salary offered is a consolidated amount of Rs. 31,000 per month, along with HRA. The selection committee reserves the right to adjust the designation and salary based on the candidate's experience and performance during the interview.
