IIT Bhubaneswar has released a recruitment notification for the position of Junior Research Fellow, with one vacancy in the School of Electrical Sciences. The qualification required is M.E/ M.Tech in Optical Engineering/Photonics/Electronics and Communication/Signal processing/ Electronics and Instrumentation with a percentage ≥65%, or
B.Tech in Electronics and Communication/Signal processing/ Electronics and Instrumentation with a percentage ≥65% and a GATE score in relevant disciplines, or M.Sc in Electronics/Physics with a percentage of ≥65% and a valid GATE/CSIR-UGC NET score. Candidates should have a good understanding of Optical communication, signals and systems, and programming languages like C, MATLAB, and/or Python.
The salary ranges from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 31,000 per month based on qualification and GATE/NET qualification. The age limit is 30 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per Government rules. Position, Vacancy for IIT Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2024
Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment on purely temporary contract basis in time bound research project undertaken in the School of Electrical Sciences of this Institute.
- Name of the Temporary Assignment: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 1 Post
Qualification for IIT Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2024
- M.E/M.Tech in Optical Engineering/Photonics/Electronics and Communication/ Signal processing/ Electronics and Instrumentation and allied Discipline with percentage ≥65% OR
- B.Tech in Electronics and communication/Signal processing/ Electronics and Instrumentation and allied disciplines with percentage ≥65% and a GATE score in ECE/IN/PH/CSIR-UGC NET qualified. OR
- M.Sc Electronics/Physics and allied discipline with a percentage of ≥65% and a valid GATE/CSIR-UGC NET score.
Essential Prerequisites
- Should have a good understanding on the following UG level subjects Optical communication, signals and systems C, MATLAB and/or Python Programming.
