IIT (BHU) Varanasi Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Scientific Administrative Assistance or Field Worker, Check Eligibility at iitbhu.ac.in

Applications are being sought for the position of Scientific Administrative Assistance//Field Worker-1 for an R&D project titled "Synthesis of movable monostatic radar mapping system for soil moisture retrieval," funded by the National Geospatial Programme of DST, Government of India, under the supervision of Prof. Rajendra Prasad at the Department of Physics, IIT (BHU) Varanasi.

The project duration is 11 months, and the position is temporary, subject to satisfactory performance or project termination. Candidates must hold a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 60% marks or 7.0/10 CGPA from a recognized institution, with an upper age limit of 50 years. Age relaxation applies as per Government norms.

The monthly fellowship for this position is 18000/- plus 16% HRA. Prior experience in remote sensing instrument and data handling is desirable. • The candidate should have Graduate Degree in any Discipline with at least 60% marks or 7.0/10 CGPA in aggregate from a recognized Institutes or Universities as a full-time program. The upper age limit is 50 years, and age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India (GoI) norms for SC/ST/OBC/EWS Physically Handicapped/Female candidates.
• Prior research experience of remote sensing instrument and data handling.
