IIT (BHU) Varanasi is inviting applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in its 2024 recruitment drive. This vacancy is targeted at candidates with a strong background in Metallurgy, Material Science, or Mechanical Engineering. Qualifications For IIT (BHU) Varanasi Recruitment 2024
- Graduate degree (B.E./B. Tech) in Metallurgy/Material Science/ Mechanical Engineering graduated in First Division with GATE/NET qualification and two years of research experience
- Postgraduate degree (M.E./M.Tech/MS.) in Metallurgy/Material Science/ Mechanical Engineering in First Division both at graduate and postgraduate level and two years of research experience.
- Research experience in any of the following: microstructural characterization, mechanical property evaluation, additive manufacturing and thermocalc simulations.
Age Limit For IIT (BHU) Varanasi Recruitment 2024
- The upper age limit is 32 Years. 5 years relaxation for Female/SC/ST/PH candidates & 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Also, in the case of exceptional candidates with research experience found suitable for the project requirements, the age criterion may be relaxed.
