Position, Vacancy for IIT BHU Recruitment 2024
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Senior Research Fellow to work on CCRAS-sponsored project under the supervision of Prof. Sairam Krishnamurthy, Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India
Qualification for IIT BHU Recruitment 2024
Title of the project: Evaluation of Coded drug Ayush Rasayana B for treatment of high-altitude sickness using multi-dimensional drug discovery approach.
Essential qualifications:
- M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm)/M. Tech in Pharmacology/Biotechnology and related disciplines (minimum 55%/equivalent grade) with GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent qualifications. The candidates should have a basic degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm).
- The candidate should have two years of work experience in relevant fields. Candidates need to produce the essential documents justifying qualification in the case of selection.
Desirable qualifications: Candidates with experience in bio-informatics/ in silico drug discovery techniques/animal handling/ pharmacological models/ molecular biology techniques would be preferred
Pay Scale for IIT BHU Recruitment 2024
The Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) (IIT BHU) is offering a Senior Research Fellow position with a fellowship amount of Rs. 42,000 per month, along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as applicable.

Selection Procedure for IIT BHU Recruitment 2024
- The shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and called for a personal interview. No TA/DA will be paid if called for an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
- The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for an interview to a reasonable limit based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
