IIT BHU Recruitment 2024: Monthly Salary Up To 80,000, Check Post, Tenure, Qualification And Other Important Details
Applications are solicited for the position of Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) on a contract basis for the ongoing research project titled "Assessment of Safe Parting Thickness and Optimum Goaf Edge Support Requirement for Extraction of Pillars," funded by M/s Coal India Limited R & D Board.
The post is co-terminus with the project. Essential qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mining Engineering focusing on Rock Mechanics and Ground Control, as well as a first-class B.Tech. degree in Mining Engineering with a CGPA of 7 or above.
Candidates must have extensive experience in numerical modeling tools and their application in investigating ground control issues in underground mines. The upper age limit for PDF is 32 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms. The remuneration offered for PDF position is INR 80,000 per month.
