Applications are invited for the post of Project Assistant (PA) in a Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Government of India, sponsored project, under DIA-CoE IIT(BHU) Varanasi, titled Development and assessment of printability of indigenous Additive Manufacturing (AM) grade metal and alloy powders (Group 2: Refractory High Entropy Alloys, PI: Dr. Subhasis Sinha), sanctioned for a total duration of 4 years.
The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Qualification for IIT (BHU) Recruitment 2024
Essential qualifications: Diploma/ITI/Degree in Engineering (from any branch) or Science (Physics, Chemistry). Minimum 55% (equivalent grade) in the preceding degrees.
Desirable qualifications:
- Knowledge and research experience in refractory high entropy alloys
- Knowledge of characterization techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, etc.
- Work experience in powder metallurgy/powder manufacturing
- Knowledge of ThermoCalc software and any prior experience in CAD modelling, CFD, multiphase modelling in OpenFOAM, FE analysis, etc.
- Any prior research experience in metal additive manufacturing Preference will be given to candidates with above mentioned qualifications
Pay Scale for IIT (BHU) Recruitment 2024
Emoluments: Rs.25,000 (Fixed) pm , No other expenses are provided
Age Limit for IIT (BHU) Recruitment 2024
Upper Age Limit 28 years. Age relaxation for reserved category candidates applicable the per Govt. of India norms.
