Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB-funded research project titled "Microrobots as mobile fluorescent probes for on-demand and local pH measurements" at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhilai. The project, led by Dr. Dhruv Pratap Singh, seeks candidates with an M.Sc. in Physics or equivalent degree, along with a minimum aggregate score of 60% (55% for SC/ST) and a qualified CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GATE score.
The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of Rs. 31,000 per month plus HRA for the first two years and Rs. 35,000 per month plus HRA in the third year, subject to SERB rules and fund availability. The initial appointment is for one year, renewable based on performance and fund availability. The selected candidate must join immediately upon receipt of the offer letter and may have the fellowship terminated with a 30-day notice if performance is deemed unsatisfactory.

Qualification for IIT Bhilai Recruitment 2024
Essential qualifications:
M.Sc. Physics from a recognized Institute/University or statutory body OR equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate score. For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score. Additionally, the candidate must have qualified CSIR/UGC JRF-NET/GATE score.
Desirable:
Preference will be given to candidates having working experience relevant to the project.
Pay Scale for IIT Bhilai Recruitment 2024
For the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai (IIT Bhilai) Recruitment 2024, the pay scale for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is structured as follows: for the first two years, the fellowship will be Rs. 31,000 per month along with House Rent Allowance (HRA).
