Qualification for IISS Recruitment 2024
Senior Research Fellow
- Essential: M.Sc. in Soil Science/Soil Chemistry & Fertility/Soil Chemistry/ Agricultural Chemistry/ Agricultural Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Agricultural Physics/ Agril. Engineering (Soil & Water)/ Agronomy/ Chemistry/ Environmental Science/ Botany/ Crop Physiology/ Plant Physiology/ Horticulture with 4 years/ 5 year of Bachelor's degree.
- Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree must have N.E.T./ GATE qualifications and 2 years of research experience.
- Desirable: Sound knowledge in laboratory analysis and Diligent in field work, experienced in conducting field experiments, knowledge in poly mulching, drip irrigation etc.
Field Assistant
- Essential: Graduate Agriculture/Horticulture Desirable: Field work experience tribal areas, working knowledge in computer application and data analysis, analysis of soil and plant samples.
Young Professional - I
- Essential: B. Sc. Agriculture. Desirable: Knowledge of field layout and crop management computer operation and lab analysis.
Pay Scale for IISS Recruitment 2024
- Senior Research Fellow: Rs.31000/- per month (fixed) + HRA (16%)
- Field Assistant: Rs. 15000/- per month (fixed)
- Young Professional - I: Rs.30000/- per month (fixed)
Place of Posting for IISS Recruitment 2024
Interview of eligible candidates for the above contractual positions will be held at Indian Institute of Soil Science, Nabibagh, Berasia Road, Bhopal, which is 6 K.M from Bhopal main station.
Age Limit for IISS Recruitment 2024
Age limit for Senior Research Fellow/Field Assistant is 35 years for Men & 40 years for Women (relaxation of age in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government norms) and Young Professional-I is 21 to 45 Years.
Selection Procedure for IISS Recruitment 2024
The Director, IISS, Bhopal reserves the right to fix criteria and short list the candidates for screening of applications/for conducting written test. The decision of the Director, IISS, Bhopal would be final and binding in all aspects.

- The applicants must bring with them original documents for verification along with one set of the complete bio-data in the prescribed format with self attested photograph and self attested enclosures such as mark sheets, proof of date of birth, certificates for qualification, experience, and caste certificate for submission in office at the time of interview.
