The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is seeking applications from Indian nationals for the position of Research Scientist on a contract basis for a funded project focused on developing antiviral platforms against henipaviruses like Nipah virus and Hendra virus.

Qualifications Details for IISER Tirupati Recruitment 2024
- Ph.D in any area of Life Sciences/Medical Sciences with experience in infectious disease research/protein chemistry/molecular biology. At least one first-author publication from PhD in a peerreviewed journal indexed in a public database (PubMed, SCOPUS etc.,)
- Experience in in-vitro assays, mammalian cell culture, animal models, molecular biology and protein purification.
Age Limit for IISER Tirupati Recruitment 2024
Applicants must be under 35 years of age at the time of the advertisement's closing date, and only one position is available. The initial appointment will be for one year, renewable based on performance, and is contingent upon the project's duration. The position is temporary and will conclude upon the project's completion.
