Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati is seeking applications from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contract basis for a CSIR-funded project titled "Geochemistry and geochronology of the gold-bearing mafic-felsic magmatic rocks of the Mangalur Greenstone Belt, Eastern Dharwar Craton, South India."
The Principal Investigator for this project is Dr. Chandan Kumar B. Applicants must meet the essential qualifications outlined by CSIR and are encouraged to have prior experience in heavy mineral separation, field structural geology, and petrographic investigations.
The fellowship for the position is set at 37,000/- per month plus 8% HRA. Applicants should not exceed 28 years of age by the closing date of the advertisement, with relaxations applicable for certain categories. The position is initially for one year, renewable based on performance, and is temporary, co-terminus with the project. Age Limit for IISER Tirupati Recruitment 2024
Applicants must be under 28 years old at the time of the advertisement's closing date. However, there is a relaxation in the upper age limit of up to 5 years for candidates from scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Pay Scale for IISER Tirupati Recruitment 2024
