Qualification For IISER Pune Recruitment 2024
- Ph.D. degree in Geophysics / Earth Science or related specialization
- Experience in multichannel seismic reflection data processing and analysis, seismic migration.
- Familiarity with tools such as Seismic Unix, MATLAB and software packages such as Promax, Globe Claritas.
- Skill in development of code (C/C++ /Fortran) for processing and imaging active seismic data.
- Working knowledge on Geological processes particularly Geology of India and its adjoining regions
- Seismic imaging, constructing velocity models, analyzing seismic data to identify fluid sources, and investigating fluid migration within the evolutionary framework of the Krishna Godavari Basin, offshore India.

General Information For IISER Pune Recruitment 2024
- The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the project.
- The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment / absorption in Funding Agency or in IISER Pune.
- The appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency particularly applicable to the said project.
