The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier institute dedicated to research and teaching in the basic sciences. It was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed Ministry of Education in August 2020). In 2012, IISER Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament.

Qualification for IISER Pune Recruitment 2024
Project Associate-I:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent from a recognized University
- Incumbent is expected to develop cosmic muons based on CAEN VME modules, FPGA based trigger logic for particle physics experiments based on scintillators and silicon. Implementation and testing of signal processing circuits to be used in experiments.
Research Associate
- Ph.D. in Experimental Particle Physics or related field from a recognized University.
- Incumbent is expected to develop trigger algorithms for CMS High Granularity Calorimeters based on FPGA methods and reconstruction of charged hadrons for Phase2 CMS experiment. Analysis of CMS Run3 collision data for developing validation strategies for single particle response reconstred using advanced machine learning methods for HL-LHC and Run3.
Pay Scale for IISER Pune Recruitment 2024
Project Associate-I: Rs. 25,000/- + 24 % (House Rent Allowance), Rs. 31,000 + 24% (House Rent Allowance). with valid CSIR-NET / GATE / DBT – JRF / any other National Level Test conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies OR equivalent scorecard.
Research Associate: Rs. 47,000/- + 24 %(House Rent Allowance)
Age Limit for IISER Pune Recruitment 2024
Not more than 35 years. Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification/s and / or experience/s of the applicant may be considered for applicant/s having qualification and experience higher than the advertised with the prior approval of the competent authority.
