About the project: The project is focused on understanding the regulation exerted by envelope stress response pathways during aerobic metabolism of long-chain fatty acids in E. coli and examine the interconnection between long-chain fatty acid metabolism and envelope redox stress in pathogenic bacteria.

Qualification for IISER Mohali Recruitment 2025
- Candidate must have a PhD in Biological Sciences with evidence of productivity [at least one research publication in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal].
- Candidate should have training and experience in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, recombinant DNA technology, bacterial genetics and physiology, and gene regulation.
