IISER Bhopal is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow, offering one post with a salary ranging from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 37,000 per month plus applicable HRA. Candidates must be below 28 years old and hold a B.Tech./M.Tech. or B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in specified disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 7.5.
Preference will be given to those who have qualified national level exams like GATE/CSIR-JRF/NET(JRF)/UGC-JRF or equivalent. The role requires expertise in electrochemistry and experience in techniques such as CV, EIS, and DPV. Mathematical proficiency up to 12th grade and good analytical skills are essential, along with familiarity with SEM, UV-Vis, and XRD.

Qualifications Details for IISER Bhopal Recruitment 2024
- B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Polymer Science and Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering / Chemical Technology or B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. degree in Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute and having minimum 60% Marks or CGPA of 7.5 and above at a sale of 10.
- Having qualified for a national level examination like GATE/CSIR-JRF/ NET(JRF)/UGC-JRF/Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship or any other equivalent fellowship in Engineering Sciences/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Chemical Sciences/allied areas is preferred.
- Candidates should have subject knowledge in electrochemistry and have some experience in electrochemical characterization techniques, e.g., CV, EIS, stripping voltammetry, DPV, etc.
- Candidates should have mathematics as a subsidiary subject at 12th and bachelor’s level.
- The position requires good analytical skills, some experience in various characterization techniques like SEM, UV-Vis, XRD, experiment design, handling of sophisticated equipment, and good English writing skills.
