Two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions are available on a temporary basis for the project "Advancement towards stable and highly efficient solar cell based on Halide perovskite," funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST). The Principal Investigator (PI) for the project is Dr. Ajay Perumal, an Assistant Professor at IISER Berhampur.
Applicants must hold a Master's Degree in Physical Science or related disciplines from a reputed institution, with preference given to freshly graduated students or those with qualifications like CSIR-UGC NET, JEST, or GATE. The engagement period is initially for one year, extendable up to two years based on performance and funding availability, with potential enrollment as a regular PhD student.
The fellowship offers a consolidated salary of Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA, with the requirement to work full-time in the experimental lab, necessitating a basic understanding of physics and material characterization. - Reputed institution with good academic record
- Preference will be given for freshly graduated students
- Preference will be given for students having CSIR-UGC NET or Those with National level examinations such as JEST, GATE etc
Pay Scale for IISER Berhampur Recruitment 2024
The fellowship offers a consolidated salary of Rs. 31,000/- per month along with HRA, subject to government guidelines. Successful candidates will be required to work full-time in the experimental lab and should possess a fundamental understanding of physics and material characterization.
