The essential qualification is a B.Tech/B.E in Chemical, Petrochemical, or Electrochemical Engineering, with final-year students eligible to apply. Desirable qualifications include experience in handling gas phase reactions using fixed catalytic reactors and material synthesis. The age limit is 35 years with age relaxation as per Government of India norms. The fellowship offered is Rs.25,000/- with 16% HRA, and the initial appointment is for 12 months, with possible extensions based on performance.
