The Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research (IIOR) is currently offering positions for Senior Research Fellow and Young Professional under a DAC sponsored project aimed at the revival of Sunflower Cultivation. There are two openings: one for each role, with salaries of Rs. 31,000 + HRA for the Senior Research Fellow and a consolidated Rs. 30,000 for the Young Professional.
The candidates should possess relevant academic qualifications and experience in agriculture, particularly in crop raising and maintenance, and be proficient in computer applications. Proficiency in Telugu, Hindi, and English is also required. The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 35 years for men and up to 45 years for women, with relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.

Qualifications For IIOR Recruitment 2024
Senior Research Fellow
- M.Sc (Agriculture) with specialization in Genetic and Plant Breeding / seed science & Technology / Agronomy with four years Bachelor's degree
- Experience in crop raising and maintenance
- Experience in seed production
- Working knowledge of computer.
- The candidate should be able to read, write and speak in Telugu, Hindi and English
Young Professional
- Graduate in Agriculture with four years Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in crop raising and maintenance
- Basic Knowledge of Computer (MS Office)
- The candidate should be able to read, write and speak in Telugu, Hindi and English.
Salary Details for IIOR Recruitment 2024
- Senior Research Fellow : Rs.31,000/- + HRA as admissible
- Young Professional : Rs.30,000/- (Consolidated)
Age limit for IIOR Recruitment 2024
- Age limit as on 01.05.2024: Minimum of 21 years and maximum age limit is 35 years for men and 45 years for women as per rules.
- For Young Professionals, the age limit is 21-45 years. Relaxation in upper age is permissible in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Govt. of India. Rules applicable to the external funded project.
Terms and Conditions For IIOR Recruitment 2024
- Place of posting is ICAR-IIOR, Hyderabad. Work place may be at any place in Telangana.
- The above position is purely temporary on contractual basis which is likely to be extended till the conclusion of the project, based on satisfactory performance of the incumbent, or until further orders whichever is earlier.
- There is no provision of re-engagement after termination of the project.
- The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the post is co-terminus with the project.
- No TA /DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the walk in interview.
Walk-In Interview Details For IIOR Recruitment 2024
- Eligible candidates are invited to attend Walk in Interview to fill up the (purely) temporary posts of Senior Research Fellow (One) and Young Professional-1 (One) under DAC sponsored project “Revival of Sunflower Cultivation to be held on 03.05.2024 at 11.00 AM at ICAR – Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. T
- Selected candidates have to make their own arrangement to stay at the place of work.
- Candidates are requested to carry all original relevant documents / certificates along with set of attested photocopies. Photograph and duly filled in application form on the date of interview. They may attend the interview only if they fulfill the essential as well as the desired qualifications
- Candidates may register their candidature from 9.30 am to 10.30 am only on 03.05.2024.
- The decision of the Director, IIOR, Hyderabad will be final and binding in all aspects.
