Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development (ADCLOD) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), set up with support from Mr Ashank Desai (an IIM Alumnus, Founder and former Chairman, Mastek), seeks to make a distinctive contribution to knowledge about Leadership and Organisational Development through cutting-edge research in the areas of leadership practice for knowledge organisations, non-governmental organisations and public sector organisations.
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has released a notification for the recruitment of a Manager at the Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development (ADCLOD). The position requires a postgraduate degree, preferably in management or related fields, with a PhD being advantageous.

Qualification For IIMA Recruitment 2024
- Postgraduate degree in any discipline, but preferably in management, organisational behaviour, human resource management, strategic management, or public administration from a reputed institution. Candidates with a PhD degree in the relevant areas may also apply.
- Industry managers interested in working in an academic setting and contributing to leadership knowledge creation and dissemination can also apply.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience with demonstrable evidence of exceptional performance and fit with the current position.
- Excellent networking and communication skills.
- Business development, fundraising, and the ability to build relationships with senior policy makers and industry professionals.
Age Limit For IIMA Recruitment 2024
- Maximum 45 years as on the last date of Application. The institute provides age relaxation as per GOI rules. Additional 5 years’ age relaxation is given to women candidates.
Salary For IIMA Recruitment 2024
- Selected candidate will be offered an appointment on a Tenure Based Scaled Contract for a fixed term of three years, which may be extended for a further period as required.
- Based on the experience and qualification, the selected candidate will be placed in Pay Level 10 under the pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.
- Besides the salary as per the 7th CPC, the Institute offers other benefits which are at par with the permanent employees.
Job Description For IIMA Recruitment 2024
- The Manager shall report to the Chairperson, Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development. Some of the responsibilities of the position include:
- Develop management systems, administrative structures and processes for ADCLOD that are in consonance with IIMA policies.
- Provide logistical support to IIMA faculty members and help generate high impact intellectual capital through research projects.
- Work closely with Centre Chairperson and IIMA administration to conceptualize and organise events such as conferences, workshops, symposia, and panels involving academics, professionals, and policymakers.
- Work with key actors in the leadership space to develop avenues for research, training, and advisory engagement for IIMA faculty members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in government, industry and academic partner institutions.
- Manage public relations and outreach through the website and social media activities of ADCLOD.
