The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) stands as a premier institution for management education in Asia, designated as an Institute of National Importance under the IIM Act of 2017. Currently, IIMB is seeking candidates for the position of Academic Associate in the Public Policy Area, suitable for individuals with strong academic backgrounds and a keen interest in pursuing doctoral programs and engaging in teaching and research within the realm of Public Policy and Business Law.
Reporting directly to Prof. Anil Suraj, the Chairperson of the Public Policy Area, the selected candidate will collaborate on projects concerning Law, Policy, and Business, providing research and teaching assistance as required by faculty members.
A Master's degree in Law with robust quantitative training is a prerequisite for this role, with the initial term of engagement spanning one year, extendable up to three years, and an inclusive monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 44,000 based on the candidate's educational qualifications and experience.

Qualifications Details for IIM Bangalore Recruitment 2024
- Candidates are required to hold a Master degree in Law with strong quantitative training.
- The selected candidate will primarily work with a faculty member on projects related to Law, Policy, and Business
- The candidate isrequired to provide research and teaching support to the faculty depending on the requirements of the faculty.
- The candidate should be willing and interested to assist faculty on all aspects of their academic research and teaching work
- The candidate is expected to support proctoring duties of the institute as and when assigned.
Pay Scale for IIM Bangalore Recruitment 2024
- The monthly stipend, inclusive of all expenses, will vary between Rs. 38,000 and Rs. 44,000, determined by the applicant's educational qualifications and experience.
