IIIT Ranchi is recruiting faculty members for temporary positions with a monthly salary of ₹70,000. Candidates must hold a PhD with first-class honors or equivalent in relevant branches of Engineering, or B.Tech/Hons. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or their specialized fields like Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, or Embedded System and IoT.
The age limit for applicants is a maximum of 35 years, with consideration up to 60 years. Qualifications Details for IIIT Ranchi Recruitment 2024
- PhD with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades etc.) at the preceding degree in the relevant branch of Engineering, with a very good academic record throughout
- B. Tech/B.Tech (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering
- B. Tech/B.Tech (Hons.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering
- B. Tech/B.Tech (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization Data Science and Artificial Intelligence
- B. Tech/B.Tech (Hons.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering with Specialization Embedded System and IoT
Age Limit for IIIT Ranchi Recruitment 2024
Preferred candidates should be 35 years old or younger, with a maximum age limit of 60 years for the Faculty position at IIIT Ranchi.
Pay Scale for IIIT Ranchi Recruitment 2024
The post is purely on Temporary basis and it does not confer any right to claim either for subsequent employment or permanent post in future. Duration of the appointment shall be one semester to start and may be extended on semester to semester basis on the recommendation of the HOD. Maximum duration of appointment in the entire career of a person shall be limited to five semesters. The consolidated emolument is ₹70,000/- per month

- The Institute reserves the right to shortlist the number of candidates depending upon the number of applications received, the qualification, publication and written test, etc. The decision of the Selection Committee is final.
