The Indian Institute of Information Technology Senapati, Manipur is an Institute of National Importance, Government of India established by an Act of Parliament in 2017 under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The objective of the institute is to develop technology and manpower for Information Technology related industries and make Manipur as a preferred destination for providing IT-related services and gateway to South-East Asia.
Admissions to the undergraduate programs in the Institute are made through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). Applications are invited from enthusiastic and dynamic nationals with excellent consistent academic record from Secondary School to Post Graduation for the post of Assistant Professor (Contract) on temporary basis, in the following discipline, as per the tentative vacancies listed:

Qualification for IIIT Manipur Recruitment 2024
- Ph.D. in appropriate discipline. First Class in both UG and PG degree or with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale in both UG and PG degrees.
- Machine Learning, Big data Technologies, Cyber Security, cryptography, Data Science, Networking, Internet of Things, WSN, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Machine Translation and NLP, Data Mining and Data Warehouse, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, High Performance Computing, Computer Architecture, Computer Graphics, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction, Algorithms, Database, Theoretical Computer Science, and any other relevant specialization.
- Candidates who have completed defense for the Ph.D. before closing date for the receipt of the Application Forms will have to attach the Certificate / Notification mentioning that Candidate is declared eligible for award of Ph.D. Degree.
- Candidates having Ph.D. from CFTIs like IITs, NITs, IIITs, INIs etc will be preferred. The persons with higher qualifications & good academic record shall be given preference.
- Minimum one year will be preferred in Teaching / Research / Industry
Pay Scale for IIIT Manipur Recruitment 2024
A monthly consolidated fixed pay of ` 75,000/-. IIIT Manipur encourages its Faculty members for active research, consultancy and skill enhancement training for revenue generation. Candidates who are qualified and are having such skills, capabilities resulting in revenue generation, Institute brand development are most encouraged to apply.

Selection Procedure for IIIT Manipur Recruitment 2024
Only the short listed candidates shall be communicated about the mode, date and other relevant details for the interview / test. No correspondence regarding reasons f o r not short listing the candidate shall be entertained. The decision of the Screening Committee shall be final in all respect.
