Qualification for IGNOU Recruitment 2024
- Must have a PG degree with 55% & above and should possess a diploma/Certificate in journalism and mass communication/Public Relation/Media from a recognized university or Government institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in Advertising, press relations, public relations, media management in higher education industry and extensive experience in planning, implementing and monitoring the Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness.
- Working knowledge of computers with content writing skills for press releases and ads, Media relations in print & digital publications, & electronic channels, working experience in distance education institutions preferred.
Pay Scale for IGNOU Recruitment 2024
The pay scale for Consultant positions in IGNOU's 2024 recruitment ranges from ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 per month.

- Self attested copies of all Educational and Professional Qualifications, Experience Certificates will have to be submitted at the time of the Interview, uploaded at the time of filling the online application form. An application, without the said documents is likely to be rejected during the course of screening.

- Applications are invited for the engagement of two consultants (purely on contractual basis) in the Public Information Unit (PIU), initially for a period of six months and extendable further as per the requirement of the university.
