IFGTB Recruitment 2024 Notification Out for 35 Project Associate, Project Assistant, More Vacancies, Check Eligibility at ifgtb.icfre.gov.in
It is proposed to conduct an Interview to recruit Project Associate/ Senior Project Fellow / Junior Research Fellows /Project Assistants and Field Assistants on purely temporary (Contractual) basis for the research projects detailed below. Eligible candidates are requested to attend the on interview at ICFRE-Institute of Forest Genetics & Tree Breeding, R.S.Puram, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Project Associate: Master's degree in the related fields like Biotechnology/Food Science and Technology/Biochemical Engineering/Enzyme Technology with 65%
Senior Project Fellow:
- M.Sc degree in Geoinformatics/ remote sensing and GIS/Applied Geology and Geoinformatics/ Geography/Earth remote sensing and Geoinformation technology/ Environment Management/Botany/ Forestry with two years experience.
- M.Sc degree in Biotechnology, Bio Chemistry, Plant Science or Integrated M.Sc Life Science/Plant Science with two years Experience.
- M.Sc degree in Biotechnology, Bio Chemistry, Plant Science or Integrated M.Sc Life Science/Plant Science with 2 years experience
Junior Project Fellow
- M.Sc degree in Biotechnology
- M.Sc degree in Botany/ Forestry/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Plant Sciences.
- M.Sc degree in Botany/ Forestry/ Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Plant Sciences.

- The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project period or earlier depending on the performance of the candidates.
- Recruitment for the above temporary positions is governed by rules of the Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education and does not guarantee subsequent employment in any Institutes under the Council.
- Candidates are required to apply online through the link provided in the website only. No other means/mode of application will be accepted and there shall be no need to submit any hard copies of the uploaded documents.
