The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), established by the Reserve Bank of India, is seeking to engage Senior Domain Experts to enhance its technology initiatives in the banking and financial sector.
These experts are expected to bring extensive domain knowledge from their tenure in commercial banks, particularly in areas such as Information Technology, Information Security, and Fintech. Candidates should possess a minimum of ten years experience in commercial banks, with at least three years at the General Manager level in technology-related roles.
The desired technical expertise includes Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Distributed Ledger Technology, Cyber Security, and other relevant areas. The engagement period is flexible, allowing experts to work a maximum of eight days per month, with compensation up to Rs 50,000 per month, plus conveyance expenses.

Qualifications Details for IDRBT Recruitment 2024
- Should have a minimum of ten years’ work experience in commercial banks
- Should have worked for a minimum of three years in the rank of General Manager Handling Information Technology / Information Security / Fintech or directly related areas of technology in commercial banks
- Should have the technical knowledge, ability and drive to contribute actively to one of the following areas:
- The Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) is seeking Senior Domain Experts with expertise in various areas crucial to banking technology. These include Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, and Internet of Things (IoT), Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), advancements in 5G and beyond networks, Cyber Security, and any other domain directly relevant to banking technology. Candidates are expected to possess extensive knowledge and experience in these fields to contribute effectively to the Institute's technology initiatives in the banking and financial sector.
Pay Scale for IDRBT Recruitment 2024
- Senior Domain Experts engaged by the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) can expect to receive an honorarium of up to Rs 50,000 (Fifty Thousand Rupees only) per month. This honorarium is linked to the number of days worked, reflecting the contributions made to the Institute within that period. Additionally, experts will be reimbursed for conveyance expenses incurred during their engagement with the Institute.
