IDRBT, established by the Reserve Bank of India, is seeking Assistant Professors with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, for roles in Banking and Financial Technology. Candidates should have a first-class academic record and at least three years of research or professional experience, with a proven track record of publications.
Positions are available as Regular or Contractual, with opportunities for advancement. The institute plans to recruit up to four Regular Faculty members, with one position reserved for OBC candidates. Remuneration for Regular positions includes movement to higher pay levels based on performance, along with various benefits. Visiting Assistant Professors receive a consolidated monthly compensation and accommodation. Contractual positions offer compensation based on candidate suitability.

Qualifications Details for IDRBT Recruitment 2024
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems / Information Security / Banking and Financial Technologies or Closely Related Areas with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch with a consistently good academic record throughout.
Pay Scale for IDRBT Recruitment 2024
The pay levels and minimum pay for direct recruits for faculty positions at IDRBT are as follows: Assistant Professor Grade - I is at Pay Level 12 with a minimum pay of Rs. 1,01,500/-. Assistant Professor Grade – II on Contract receives Pay Level 11 with a minimum pay of Rs. 73,100/- after completing one year of service, and Pay Level 10 with a minimum pay of Rs. 70,900/- at entry level.
Selection Process for IDRBT Recruitment 2024
- Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the position applied for. Mere fulfillment of the eligibility does not entitle a candidate to be shortlisted for the Selection Process
- The Institute reserves the rights to call only such candidates who are found prima-facie suitable for being considered by the Selection Committee. The Institute also reserves the right to restrict the candidates called for the selection process to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed herein and the requirements of the Institute. Thus, just fulfilling the prescribed conditions would not entitle one to be called for the Selection Process.
- No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct & result of selection process and reasons for not being called for interview.
