The ideal candidate should have a strong information security risk-centric mindset, detailed knowledge of IT policies governing the banking sector, and excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
They should have a minimum of 18 years of experience, with 8-10 years specifically in Information Security in financial organizations. The selected candidate will be responsible for various aspects of Information Security, including policy formulation and compliance, risk assessment, incident management, security awareness training, and legal matters related to IT security.

Qualifications Details for IDBI Recruitment 2024
Chief Information Security Officer:
- Full-time Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering disciplines preferably Electronics & Telecommunications/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Electrical/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication or Master's in Computer Application from a University/ Institute recognized by Government of India or its Regulatory bodies.
- Applicants possessing Certified information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) / Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)/ Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)/ Certified information System Auditor (CISA)/ would be preferred.
Age Limit for IDBI Recruitment 2024
IDBI Bank is recruiting for the position of Chief Information Security Officer on a contract basis, with one available post. The age limit for applicants is between 45 to 60 years. Eligible Indian citizens meeting the necessary criteria are encouraged to apply by submitting their applications.
Pay Scale for IDBI Recruitment 2024
Consolidated remuneration which will based on experience, Seniority level etc. Remuneration shall be subject to deduction of taxes/statutory deductions, as applicable. CTC comprises of all the emoluments/allowances/benefits/perquisites, etc. paid as one time/ monthly/ periodically/ annually except as mentioned in the terms and conditions separately.
Selection Process for IDBI Recruitment 2024
The selection process will comprise of:
- Preliminary screening and shortlisting based on the eligibility criteria, candidate's qualifications, suitability/ experience, etc. submitted with the applications.
- The candidature, after preliminary screening and without verification of documents, will be provisional for both positions and will be subject to verification of all details/ documents with the originals when a candidate reports for PI (if called).
- Selection will be on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in PI. Bank may change the mode of selection depending upon the number of suitable candidates.
- The final selection of candidate is subject to qualification in PI, being sufficiently high in the merit list, being declared medically fit as per the Bank’s standards of fitness and fulfilling the stipulated eligibility criteria as on the cut-off date.
