Applications are being invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a project titled "Design and development of highly efficient flame retardant materials from nondegradable polymeric waste," sponsored by SERB and led by Dr. Surajit Some, with a project duration of 3 years.
The position requires candidates to hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry with at least 55% marks, with preference given to those who have cleared the Ph.D. entrance test in Chemistry at ICT Mumbai. Prior experience in organic chemistry is preferred.
The selected candidate will receive a remuneration/fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month for 2 years with HRA, which will be increased to Rs. 42,000 per month for the third year, following DST guidelines.

Qualifications Details for ICT Mumbai Recruitment 2024
- Candidates with an M.Sc. in Chemistry, preferably with a minimum of 55% marks, are eligible. Preference will be given to those who have passed the Ph.D. entrance test in Chemistry at ICT Mumbai.

Pay Scale for ICT Mumbai Recruitment 2024
- The remuneration offered is Rs. 37,000 per month with HRA for a duration of 2 years.
- Following DST guidelines, the remuneration increases to Rs. 42,000 per month with HRA for the third year.
Selection Process for ICT Mumbai Recruitment 2024
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- The interview date will be communicated to the short-listed candidates.
- Selection will be based on the interview conducted by the committee.
- The recommendation of the committee will be final.
