The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), operating under the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Government of India, is seeking applications for the position of Senior Financial Advisor on deputation basis with foreign service terms.
Eligible candidates must be Central Government Officers from organized Accounts Service, Group ‘A’, or Central Secretariat Service, either holding an analogous post or possessing three years of regular service in Grade Level -13 of the pay matrix. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the health sector, research organizations, or finance/accounts. Applicants should be below 58 years of age.
The Senior Financial Advisor will be responsible for managing ICMR's finances, maintaining accounts, conducting internal audits, and advising the Director General on financial matters. Applications must be submitted through the prescribed format available on the ICMR website by June 30th, with the necessary approvals from the Cadre Controlling Authority.

Eligibility Condition for ICMR Recruitment 2024
- Experience in Health Sector and/ or in Research Organizations and/or Finance/Accounts
- Holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
- With 3 years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level -13 of pay Matrix ( Rs.1,23,100-2,15,900) in the parent cadre/department

Selection Process for ICMR Recruitment 2024
The selected candidates will be appointed on deputation basis on Foreign Service term for a period of three years, which may be curtailed or extended further in the interest of administrative exigencies. The pay and other terms & conditions of deputation will be governed as per the instructions of the Department of Personnel & Training issued from time to time in this regard.

- Advance copy may be sent but only those applications will be considered for whom approval of Cadre Controlling Authority is received. While forwarding the applications, the Cadre Controlling Authority should also send the Vigilance Clearance Certificate and copy of APARs of the last 5 years 2019-2023(ending 31st March).
- Applicant will not be permitted to withdraw his/her name after selection. The application received after the last date or applications incomplete or those not received through proper channel will not be considered.
