IC would like to announce vacancies for the positions of Project Technical Support-III and Lab Attendant at ICMR-NITVAR in Pune, with a total of 9 posts available. The Project Technical Support-III position requires a candidate aged up to 35 years, holding a graduate degree with three years of relevant experience or a postgraduate degree in the relevant field.
The Lab Attendant position is open to candidates aged up to 25 years, with a requirement of high school or equivalent education and experience in general laboratory procedures. The monthly salary for Project Technical Support-III is Rs. 28,000/- along with HRA, while for Lab Attendant, it is Rs. 15,800/-.
Selection will be through a Walk-In-Interview and/or a written test, depending on the number of eligible candidates, focusing on relevant subjects, general knowledge, reasoning skills, quantitative analysis, language, and aptitude. Candidates must arrive at the venue before 10:00 AM on 10.06.2024, bringing duly filled application forms, bio-data, original documents, and photocopies. Late arrivals after 10:00 AM will not be considered. The interview/written test will take place at the Auditorium of ICMR-National Institute of Translational Virology and Aids Research, Plot No. 73, G-Block, Bhosari, Pune-411026.

Qualifications Details for ICMR-NITVAR Recruitment 2024
- Three years Graduate in relevant subject/field + three Years’ experience or PG in relevant subject/ Field.
- M.Sc. with laboratory experience in serology/Molecular Biology Techniques, handling infectious agents and data management
- Knowledge of computer applications and data management.
- High School or equivalent
- Experience in carrying out general laboratory procedures

- Project Technical Support-III: 35 Years
- Lab Attendant: 25 Years

Selection Process for ICMR-NITVAR Recruitment 2024
- Walk-In-Interview and/or a Written test if the number of eligible candidates are more than 30
- Depending upon the number of candidates, written/skill test may be conducted. Question paper will be on relevant subject matters of the concerned position considering its essential qualification and job requirements, in addition to, general knowledge, reasoning skills, quantitative analysis, language and general aptitude etc.
- Candidates successfully qualifying the written/skill test would be considered for interview and/or further process of recruitment, subject to fulfillment of required eligibility criteria in all respects of qualification, age and experience, etc
Walk-in detals for ICMR-NITVAR Recruitment 2024
- Candidates must be present at the venue in time before 10:00 am along with duly filled in and signed application form with their bio data and all original documents along with one set of photocopies in proof of their educational qualification, experience, age and identity etc. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered. No calculators, log tables, electronic devices etc. are allowed for the examination. Director, NITVAR reserves the right to change the venue and other process of recruitment as per circumstances.
