The organization is conducting walk-in interviews on May 16th and 17th, 2024, for various positions. On May 16th, they are hiring for two Junior Medical Officer positions, six Senior Research Fellow (SRF) positions in Food and Nutrition, and two SRF positions in Anthropology/Sociology/Social Work.
The Junior Medical Officer roles require MBBS/AYUSH/BDS degrees with registration in the respective council and preferably a Master's in Public Health or one year of field experience. The SRF positions necessitate a Master's in Food & Nutrition/Home Science for the first set and a Master's in Anthropology/Sociology/Social Science/Social Work for the latter, with both requiring one year of relevant field experience.
On May 17th, they are recruiting four Senior Technical Assistants, four Project Assistants (Phlebotomists), and eight Field Workers. The Senior Technical Assistant roles require a degree in Anthropology/Social Science/Sociology/Science with two years of experience or a postgraduate degree in the specified subjects, along with experience in blood sample collection.

Qualifications Details for ICMR-NIN Recruitment 2024
Junior Medical Officer:
- MBBS/AYUSH/BDS Degree from a recognized university and registration in the respective medical/A YUSH/ dental council and willing to work in the field and able to understand local language.
- Masters in Public Health OR minimum of one year of experience in field or community studies
Senior Research Fellow: Master's(M.Sc./MPH) Food & Nutrition, Home Science and willing to work in the field and able to understand local language. One year experience in conducting field or community studies (24 hour dietary recall data collection)
Sr. Technical Assistant:
Graduate in Anthropology / Social Science/Sociology/ Science (Biochemistry/Micro- biology) / Social Work from a recognized university with minimum two years' of experience or Post Graduate degree in above specified subjects will be considered as two years of experience and willing to work in the field , experience in drawing blood sample, processing blood sample in field studies.
Project Assistant:
Graduate in MLT from a recognized university OR DMLT with One year relevant experience (blood sample collection) OR B.Sc (Nursing) OR Two years nursing with one year of relevant experience (blood sample collection) AND willing to work in the field and able to understand local language.

Age Limit for ICMR-NIN Recruitment 2024
- Applications are sought from suitable candidates for the position outlined below for the "Diet and Biomarker Survey in India (DABS-I)" project funded by ICMR at this Institute. The position is on a temporary contract basis.Candidates should not exceed 30 years of age to be eligible for this position.
- Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC category as per DoPT rules.

Walk-in details for ICMR-NIN Recruitment 2024
The Walk-in-interview will be conducted on 16th and 17th May, 2024 at National Health Mission, The Multi Office Complex, 6th Floor, Near Moti Daman Market, Moti Daman, Daman - 396220. Applications will be received from the individuals by hand on thedate of Walk-in-interview between 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
The Candidates may download the application form from www.nin.res.in and submit the same duly filled in along with one set of photocopies of certificates and one latest photograph and all the Original Certificates for verification failing which their candidature cannot be considered for Interview.
After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be informed on the same day for Walk-in-interview. The candidates have to make their own arrangements for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
