Qualification for NIN Recruitment 2024
Jr. Medical Officer :
- MBBS/AYUSH/BDS Degree from a recognized university and registration in the respective medical/A YUSH/dental council and willing to work in the field and able to understand local language.
- Masters in Public Health OR minimum of one year of experience in field or community studies
Senior Research Fellow :
- Post Graduation (M.SC./M.A./MSW) in Anthropology/ Sociology/ Social Science / Social Work from a recognized university and willing to work in the field and able to understand the local language.
- One year experience in conducting anthropometry, mobile tablet based data collection in field or community studies
Sr. Technical Assistant :
- Graduate in Anthropology/Social Science/Sociology/ Science (Biochemistry/Microbiology) / Social Work from a recognized university with minimum two years' of experience or PostGraduate degree in above specified subjects will be considered as two years of experience and willing to work in the field
- Experience in drawing blood samples, processing blood samples in field studies.
Project Assistant :
- Graduate in MLT from a recognized university OR
- DMLT with One year relevant experience (blood sample collection) OR
- B.Sc (Nursing)OR
- Two years nursing with one year of relevant experience (blood sample collection) AND willing to work in the field and able to understand local language.

- Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC category as per DoPT rules.
- The candidates should ensure that they belong to the OBC category if applicable while applying for the project posts.
- Such candidates should produce a valid OBC-Non Creamy Layer certificate in the prescribed format during document verification that he/she does not belong to the creamy layer.
- The OBC certificate shall not be older than one year at the time of joining the post.
- In case of not complying with these stipulations, their candidature or OBC reservation will not be entertained.
Selection Procedure for NIN Recruitment 2024
- The number of posts may vary according to the project requirement.
- After verification of the applications, the names of eligible candidates will be displayed on the official website www.nin.res.in.
- The applications are shortlisted for the interview based on the decision of the Screening Committee as per the project requirements.
- Interviews will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates through online (Video call/ Video- Conferencing) to select the suitable candidate in a later course.
- The candidates have to make their own arrangements for Video Call/ Video-Conferencing facilities for Online Interviews.
- The link will be sent to the shortlisted candidates for online interviews.
- The applicants are advised to visit our website regularly for any updates and changes in the recruitment process.
- The results of the final selection will be placed on ICMR-NIN website only. No intimation will be sent by email or phone.
