The Institute is seeking to fill the position of Junior Medical Officer/Project Research Scientist – I on a temporary contract basis for its ICMR funded research project titled “Acceleration of TB Elimination in selected districts of India” at ICMR – NICHDR, with the posting at State TB Cell Chandigarh GMSH – Sector 16, Chandigarh. The monthly emoluments for the position are Rs. 67,000 plus HRA as admissible.
The essential qualification is an MBBS Degree from a recognized University, and the initial duration of the appointment is one year, with a maximum age limit of 35 years. The walk-in interview/personal discussion/written test is scheduled for 12.06.2024 at State TB Cell Chandigarh GMSH – Sector 16, Chandigarh, with candidates required to report by 10.00 AM.

Selection Process for ICMR-NICHDR Recruitment 2024
- In case of more than 30 candidates, a written test comprising of 20 number of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with 20 marks, shall be taken.
- The final merit shall be prepared based on marks of written test and interview. In case of non-conductance of written test being less than 30 candidates, the merit shall be prepared based on marks obtained in the interview.
- Canvassing in any form for short listing, interview and employment will be a disqualification and such candidates will be barred from selection process.
