Qualifications Details for ICMR-NICHDR Recruitment 2024
Scientist-C: (Medical/Non-Medical)
- MBBS/BVSc/BDS wish three years' experience or MBBS/BVSc/BDS with MPH/PhD or MBBS/BVSc/BDS + Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees.
- Preferably in public health/community medicine
- First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three Years' Experience or PhD. or Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with PhD and three Years' Experience. Preferably in public health/community medicine.
Assistant: Graduate in any discipline with administration/finance and account work. 5 years' experience of administration/finance and account work.
Technician-C: 12th pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Labo ratory technology OR One year DMLT Plus one-year experience in recognized organization *B.Sc (MLT/Life science shall be treated as 3 years experience
Data entry Operator: 12th or intermediate pass from recognized University and having a knowledge in computer application like M.S. Office and having typing speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on comnuter.
Age Limit for ICMR-NICHDR Recruitment 2024
Age, Qualification, Experience etc., will be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC or other reserved categories will be provided as per the guidelines of Government of India.
- Scientist-C: Not exceeding 40 Years
- Assistant: Not exceeding 35 Years
- Technician-C: Not exceeding 30 Years
- Data entry Operator: Not exceeding 30 Years
Pay Scale for ICMR-NICHDR Recruitment 2024

Selection Process for ICMR-NICHDR Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidate will have No claim for regular appointment in any ICMR/Institutes/Centers/MRHRUs for continuation of his/her services in any other project. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidate or bringing political or other outside influence with regard to selection shall be a disqualification and such candidates will not be considered.
