Qualifications Details for ICFRE Recruitment 2024
- Intermediate with Science. Candidate should be willing to work and stay at least 20 days / month in the field. Intermediate with Science. willing to work in hilly areas field and lab. First Class M.Sc. in Chemistry. Knowledge of working in a Natural Products Chemistry laboratory.
- First Class M.Sc. in Cellulose & Paper Technology/Wood Scinece and Technology/Chemistry/ Forestry Two years research/industrial experience OR First Class M.Sc. in Cellulose & Paper Technology/Wood Scinece and Technology/Chemistry/ Forestry. In case if no candidate will found suitable for the post of SPF selection will be made for the post of JPF
- First class M.Tech. Or M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geo- informatics with 3 years research experience. Ог First class M.A. or M.Sc. in Geography with 3 years research experience in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geo-informatics. First class M.Sc. in Forestry with 3 years research experience in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geo-informatics. Ph.D. in Forestry (Discipline: Genetic/ Biotechnology/ Tree Improvement) with First class M.Sc. in Forestry.
- First class M.Tech. Or M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geo- informatics with 2 years research experience. Or First class M.A. or M.Sc. in Geography with 2 years research experience in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geo-informatics. Or First class M.Sc. in Forestry with 2 years research experience in Remote Sensing and GIS/Geo-informatics. In case if no candidate will found suitable, selection will be made for the post of SPF. NET qualified.
Age Limit for ICFRE Recruitment 2024
The tenure for these positions will be initially for one year or until the completion of the project, whichever occurs earlier, with the possibility of extension as per ICFRE regulations. As of June 1, 2024, the upper age limits are 35 years for Research Associates, 32 years for SRF/SPF, and 28 years for JPF. These age limits are relaxable by up to 5 years for candidates from SC/ST, Women, Physically Handicapped, and OBC categories.

- Walk-in-interview for the position of Research Associates/SPF, Junior Project Fellow and Field Assistants as per details given below purely on temporary basis will be held on 16-07-2024, 18-07-2024 and 19- 07-2024 at 09.00 A.M. in the Board Room of FRI Main Building, P.O. New Forest, Forest Research Institute. Dehradun-248006.
- The interested and eligible candidates must bring the copy of bio-data along with recent passport size photograph, self-attested copies of all educational certificates and relevant documents for submission to the office of Group Coordinator (Research), P.O. New Forest, FRI, Dehradun.
- No separate letter will be issued for attending the interview and No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview. Candidates are requested to report for registration as per Interview date i.e 16-07-2024, 18-07-2024 and 19-07-2024 at 09.00 A.M. in the Board Room of FRI Dehradun.
