ICFRE-HFRI Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Project Fellow, and Project Assistant Vacancies, Check Eligibility at hfri.icfre.gov.in
The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) - Himalayan Forest Research Institute (HFRI) is inviting applications for 15 temporary positions of Junior Project Fellow and Project Assistant. These roles, based in Himachal Pradesh, offer salaries ranging from Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 24,000 per month.
Candidates should have a first-class MSc in Forestry, Botany, Agriculture, or related fields, with preferences given to those from Ladakh or with relevant experience. BSc holders in these disciplines are also eligible. The age limit is 28 years for Junior Project Fellows and 30 years for Project Assistants, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates.
Applications must be submitted by July 10, 2024, through Registered/Ordinary Post or by hand. The interview will take place on July 15, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Qualifications Details for ICFRE-HFRI Recruitment 2024
- First Class MSc. in Forestry/ Botany/ Agriculture.
- Preference will be given to the candidates from Ladakh.

- BSc. Botany /Forestry/ Agriculture. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience of working in the field as well as nursery.

Pay Scale for ICFRE-HFRI Recruitment 2024
The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) - Himalayan Forest Research Institute (HFRI) invites applications for 15 temporary positions of Junior Project Fellow and Project Assistant. These positions are available under various ICFRE PLAN, AICRP, and EAP projects implemented at the institute. The selected candidates will be based in Himachal Pradesh and will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 24,000 per month.
Age Limit for ICFRE-HFRI Recruitment 2024
Age (as on date of interview i.e. 15% July, 2024) in case of JPF (28 years) and Project Assistant (30 Years) should not be exceeded. Further relaxation of 5 years in age to SC/ST/OBC/ Woman candidates will be given as per approved rules.

- Candidates are to deposit their application on prescribed form through Registered / Ordinary Post or By Hand only latest by 10m July, 2024 (giving details of Name, Date of birth, Father's Name, Permanent & Current Address, Educational qualification from High School/ Higher Secondary onwards with the name of Institution, Year of Passing, Marks obtained, Medium of study and field experience, with one passport size colour photograph affixed on it).
- They are also requested to attach self-attested photocopies of all the testimonials along with the application. The original mark-sheets, certificates, experience certificates, etc. are also required to be verified at the time of interview.
- All the interested candidates and having required/ essential educational qualification may attend interview on 15th July, 2024 starting at 10.30AM in the Institute. Applications for each of the position are to be submitted separately alongwith educational documents otherwise their candidature is liable to be rejected.
