ICFRE-Arid Forest Research Institute (ICFRE AFRI) in Jodhpur has announced recruitment for the position of Deputy Ranger, with one vacancy available. The position requires candidates who are serving in analogous posts or are Foresters in Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with at least 10 years of service and completion of a Forestry training course from a recognized institution. The tenure for the position is initially three years, extendable or terminable based on the discretion of the Director, AFRI, Jodhpur.
The pay scale for the Deputy Ranger position is in Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix, along with applicable allowances. The upper age limit for applicants is 50 years as of the closing date of applications, which is August 30, 2024. Qualification for ICFRE AFRI Recruitment 2024
Analogous Post OR Forester in the Level-4 of 7Th CPC Pay Matrix with 10years of service in the grade and having successfully completed Forestry training course from a recognized Institution. The tenure shall ordinarily be 3 years. The tenure, is however, liable to be terminable at an earlier date or extendable at the discretion of Director, AFRI, Jodhpur.

The Institute of Arid Forest Research Institute(AFRI), Jodhpur (Rajasthan) invites applications from the eligible officials under Central/ State/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Bodies for filling up of one post of Deputy Ranger in the Pay Level of 6 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix plus usual allowances as admissible under rules in Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education(ICFRE), Dehradun.

- Applications with complete bio-data together with a fee of Rs.500/- (Rs. Five Hundred Only) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director, AFRI, Jodhpur payable at Jodhpur should reach the office of the Director, Arid Forest Research Institute, PO: Krishi Upaz Mandi, New Pali Road, Jodhpur - 342005 on or before 30-08-2024.
- Envelope of application should be super scribed as 'Application for the post of Dy. Ranger' against the advertisement No.01/2024.
- Applications incomplete in any respect shall be summarily rejected. Eligible person from any part of country can apply.
- In no case the Institute will be responsible for non-receipt of applications or any delay in receipt thereof on any account whatsoever.
- No application received after the stipulated last date will be entertained under any circumstances and all the application will be summarily rejected.
- The candidate must submit their application through proper channel.
- The concerned department/organization should enclose vigilance clearance report and Annual Confidential Reports of the official for the last five years (2019-20 to 2023-24) while forwarding the application of the candidate.
- However, an advance copy can be submitted along with prescribed fee.
