Qualifications Details for ICAR Recruitment 2024
- Master's degree in relevant subjects (Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Plant Biochemistry/Life sciences/ Microbiology) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having Post- graduate degree in basic Sciences with 3 years of Bachelor's degree and 2 years masters degree should have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned in OM No Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated 13th July, 2015, OM No Agril. Edn. 6/27/2014-HRD 9th October, 2015 of the Council and OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of DST dated, 30th January 2019 for eligibility.
- Agrobacterium mediate genetic transformation of rice/soybean/mustard, genome editing of plants, molecular cloning, Molecular analysis of transgenic plants and other basic molecular techniques
Age Limit for ICAR Recruitment 2024
- Maximum 35 years for men for SRF/JRF positions. For women/SC/ST/OBC, an age relaxation of 5 years will be given as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.
