ICAR-NBAIM in Mau is conducting walk-in interviews on May 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM to fill temporary/contractual positions across various projects and research units. Positions include Young Professional II in Genomics, AMAAS, Contract Services, and Screening Evaluation of Microbe Technologies, with monthly consolidated emoluments ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 42,000.
Additionally, there's a Project Assistant position with a monthly emolument of Rs. 15,000. Eligibility criteria vary, with essential qualifications ranging from Master's degrees in Agricultural Microbiology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Botany, to a minimum of completing 10+2 in Agriculture/Horticulture/Science for specific roles.
Age limits also differ based on positions, with relaxation as per GOL/ICAR norms. These appointments are project-based and co-terminus with the project's duration, with no guarantee of further employment in NBAIM/ICAR. Candidates must bring their original certificates, application in the prescribed format, and self-attested copies of documents for verification. Qualifications Details for ICAR-NBAIM Recruitment 2024
Young Professional II:
- Master's degree in Agricultural Microbiology/Microbiology Biotechnology Botany
- Experience in cultivation, molecular identification. sequencing &analysisand maintenance of microorganisms
- Training/ Experience in Mushroom cultivation/ Bio formulation. Experience in weed/ disease/pest management in crops and extention work.
Young Professional I:
- Master's degree in Agricultural Microbiology/Microbiology Biotechnology Botany
- Working knowledge on microbial culturing and molecular tools in microbiology
Project Assistant: The candidate should have completed 10 + 2 in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Science
Field Attendant:
- The candidate should have completed 10 + 2 in Agriculture/Horticulture/Science/Arts/Commerce
- Wprking experience on fieid experimentation
Age Limit for ICAR-NBAIM Recruitment 2024
For Young Professional I and II, Minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum 45 years (relaxation in age as per GOL/ICAR norms). For Project Assistant and Field Assistant, Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 35 years (relaxation in age as per GOI/ICAR norms). Specific to the activities under DAPSC/DAPST, to be filled by SC/ST candidates
