Qualification For IIOPR Recruitment 2024

• M.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Genetics and Plant Breeding / Plant Breeding/ PGR with four years of Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from ICAR recognized University (or) M.Sc. in Plant Science / Botany with NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
• Candidates with Ph.D. and experience in plant breeding/ Horticulture/germplasm evaluation.
• Knowledge in computer and statistical analysis.
• One year but, extendable for one year (or) more based on rules (or) co-terminus with the project.

Terms and Conditions For IIOPR Recruitment 2024

• Place of Work: ICAR - Indian Institute of Oil Palm Research (IIOPR), Research Centre, Palode, Thiruvananthapuram. However, work involves travel outside also.
• Age Limit: 35 Years for male and 40 years for female (with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. of India norms).
• No objection certificate from the employer/university in case he/she is employed elsewhere/studying.
• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending the interview.
• The selected candidate cannot claim any regular employment at this institute, as the position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
• The above position is on contractual basis, purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project.
• The decision of the Director, ICAR-IIOPR, Pedavegi, Andhra Pradesh is final and binding in all aspects.
