ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Senior Research Fellow and Young Professional Vacancies, Check Eligibility at iari.res.in
Applications are open for the engagement of three contractual positions under two research projects at the ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute. The positions include two Senior Research Fellows (SRF) and one Young Professional I. One SRF position is for the project "Insight and field validation of Nanofertilizers in wheat" (Project Code 79-171) and another for the project "Long Term Evaluation of POLY- 4 (Polyhalite) for Enhanced Productivity, Resource Use Efficiency and Sustainability of Rice-Wheat System under Trans IGP" (Project Code 79-172).
Both SRF positions require an M.Sc. Degree in Agriculture (Agronomy) with 4 years of Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Agriculture) and experience in conducting field experiments, soil and plant nutrient analysis, computer applications, statistical analysis, and report writing.
The emoluments for SRF positions are Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA as per ICAR guidelines. The Young Professional I position also requires a Bachelor’s degree and similar experience as SRFs with a fixed monthly emolument of Rs. 25,000/-

Qualifications Details for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
Senior Research Fellow:
- M.Sc. Degree in Agriculture (Agronomy) with 4 years of Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Agriculture).
- Experience of conducting field experiment and well versed with soil and plant nutrient analysis.
- Knowledge in computer applications, statistical analysis of data, interpretation of results and report writing etc.
Young Professional-I:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience of conducting field experiment and well versed with soil and plant nutrient analysis.
- Knowledge in computer applications, statistical analysis of data, interpretation of results and report writing etc.
Age Limit for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
ICAR-IARI is currently accepting applications for three contractual positions, comprising two Senior Research Fellows (SRF) and one Young Professional I. The upper age limit for these positions is 35 years. The age relaxation of five years for SC/ST/Women & three years for OBC as on 30-May 2024
Pay Scale for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
- Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 31000/- per month + HRA as per ICAR guidelines
- Young Professional-I: Rs. 25,000/- per month fixed.
Selection Process for ICAR-IARI Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificate at the time of joining.
- The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the respective Project
- Shortlisted candidates will receive the Google Meet link for the online interview on their registered email addresses one day prior. The interviews will be conducted on May 21, 2024
