IARI Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Young Professional - II Vacancy, Check Eligibility at iari.res.in

The Division of Vegetable Science at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, has announced a vacancy for the position of Young Professional-II (YP-II) on a contractual basis under the project titled "Development of DUS testing guidelines for Summer Squash (Cucurbita pepo L.)" funded by PPV&FRA.

Interested candidates should email their CVs along with self-attested photocopies of supporting documents to [email protected] by May 10, 2024. A walk-in interview will be conducted on May 14, 2024, at the Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR-IARI, Pusa, New Delhi. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 35,000 per month.

The age limit is a maximum of 45 years, with relaxation for SC/ST/Women and OBC candidates. The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, subject to annual renewal based on progress and fund availability. Candidates are required to bring all original certificates and documents for verification during the interview, and no TA/DA will be provided.

Qualification for IARI Recruitment 2024

• Post graduate degree in relevant subjects or Degree in Agriculture Science as per ICAR OM No.F.No.Agril.Edn.1-06/2020-A&P dated 04.12.2020
• Master’s degree in Horticulture//Vegetable Science /Genetics/Plant Breeding/Life Sciences disciplines with working hand on Field based evaluation and characterization of large sets of germplasm and their analysis.

Age Limit for IARI Recruitment 2024

• Age Limit: Maximum age of 45 years.
• Age Relaxation:
  • Five years for SC/ST/Women candidates.
  • Three years for OBC candidates.

Terms and Conditions for IARI Recruitment 2024

• The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in advance in writing so as to reach the Division of Vegetable Science, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi through e-mail [email protected] by 10th May, 2024.
• If on the date of interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidates will not be allowed for interview.
• All the other candidates are also required to compulsorily furnish the declaration duly signed and submitted at the date of interview.
• The candidates have to strictly submit the form annexed (typed/filled) duly signed and submit on the date of interview

Selection Procedure for IARI Recruitment 2024

• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be interviewed.
• The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at the Institute as the position is coterminous with the project.
• The interview of eligible candidates will be held according to the schedule given above.
