ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CMFRI) has announced recruitment for two positions of Young Professional I. Candidates with qualifications including B.Sc, BFSc, Diploma, or B.A are eligible to apply. The selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000 per month.
The age limit for the Young Professional category ranges from 21 to 45 years with relaxation as per rules. The selection process involves shortlisting based on qualifications followed by an interview. The interview is scheduled for 08.05.2024 at ICAR-CMFRI, Kochi.

Qualification for ICAR-CMFRI Recruitment 2024
- Graduates/ Diploma holders in Fisheries Science/ Marine Science. Graduates in Economics/Statistics
- Knowledge in ecological principles/ environmental analysis/GIS/ Geoinformatics.
- Master’s degree with expertise in data analysis using statistical/Econometric software.
- Field surveys/Data compilation and analysis/manuscript preparation and reporting.
- Post is purely on contract basis for a period of one year from the date of joining or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier.
Pay Scale for ICAR-CMFRI Recruitment 2024
ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CMFRI) is offering the position of Young Professional I with a pay scale of Rs. 30,000 per month. These emoluments are provided on a consolidated basis as per the guidelines set by ICAR.

- An interview is scheduled to be held on 08.05.2024 at ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi for the recruitment of two Young Professional I under the project entitled “Integrating Risk Assessments and Future Projections for Sustainable Coastal Resilience”.
- The eligible candidates fulfilling all the requirements are advised to send their bio-data along with scanned copies of the original supporting documents to [email protected] on or before 30.04.2024
- All the original certificates from matriculation onwards must be sent in scanned form to [email protected] on or before 30.04.2024.Without these certificates, applicants would not be allowed to appear for interview.
- Candidates should produce one valid ID proof at the time of interview.
- If any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR-CMFRI, the candidate intending to attend the interview has to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in writing as detailed in and communicate to the undersigned by post or through e‐mail at [email protected] on or before 30.04.2024.
