The ICAR-CIRB, Hisar, is conducting a walk-in interview on May 30, 2024, at 11:00 hrs for two Senior Research Fellow (SRF) positions under the NAS project "Evaluation of Semen Characteristics and Fertility Parameters of Clones Progenies - Phase II," led by Dr. P.S. Yadav. The positions are purely contractual, lasting until April 30, 2025, or until the project's completion.
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in relevant life sciences disciplines with 4-5 years of Bachelor’s degree, or a Post-Graduate degree in Basic Sciences with specific qualifications and research experience. Preferred candidates will have experience in cell/embryo/tissue culture, semen biology, or molecular biology.
The positions offer emoluments of ₹31,000 per month for the first two years and ₹35,000 per month in the third year, with HRA provided if hostel accommodation is not available. Eligible candidates should bring original certificates, a typed bio-data, attested copies of certificates, and a passport-sized photo. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.

Qualifications Details for ICAR-CIRB Recruitment 2024
Master's degree in the discipline Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Physiology/Animal Genetics and Breeding/ Biochemistry/Reproduction/Microbiology or Life Sciences with 4 years/5 Years of Bachelor Degree. Or Candidates having Post-Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's Degree and two years Master's Degree should have NET/GATE qualification and 2 years of research experience as mentioned.
Age Limit for ICAR-CIRB Recruitment 2024
The upper age limit is 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates as of the date of the walk-in interview, with age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC as per rules. The project is titled "Evaluation of Semen Characteristics and Fertility Parameters of Clones Progenies - Phase II."
Pay Scale for ICAR-CIRB Recruitment 2024
The position available is for Senior Research Fellow (SRF), with one opening. The emoluments offered are €31,000 per month for the first and second year, and €35,000 per month for the third year. SRFs will be eligible for House Rent Allowance (HRA) only if hostel accommodation is not provided. Additionally, no other allowances will be provided. The duration of the post is until the completion of the project or until April 30, 2025, whichever comes earlier.
Selection Process for ICAR-CIRB Recruitment 2024
The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute. Eligible and interested candidates may attend walk-in-interview on the dates as indicated in the Advertisement along with original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each of their certificates with passport size photograph.
