Eligibility Criteria for IBPS Recruitment 2024
- Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, CA, LLB, MBA, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Please refer to the notification for further information.
- Candidates may please note that the eligibility criteria specified is the basic criteria for appointment to the aforesaid posts in the Regional Rural Banks. However merely applying for, qualifying in the CRP and getting provisionally allotted in one of the RRBs does not imply that a candidate will necessarily be eligible for employment in any of the Regional Rural Banks.
- It is expressly clarified that the ultimate authority for recruitment is the Regional Rural Bank itself. The RRB concerned may, in its sole discretion, reject the candidature of anyone provisionally allotted to it through the CRP.
Age Limit for IBPS Recruitment 2024
Age (As of 01.06. 2024)
Group “B”:
- For Office Assistants: Between 18 years and 28 years
- For Officer Scale- I: Above 18 years - Below 30 years
Group “A”-Officers:
- For Officer Scale- II: Above 21 years - Below 32 years
- For Officer Scale- III: Above 21 years - Below 40 years
Application Fee for IBPS Recruitment 2024
Application Fees/ Intimation Charges (Online payment from 07.06.2024 to 27.06.2024 both dates inclusive)
- Officer (Scale I, II & III): Rs.175/- (Inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Office Assistants: Rs.850/- (Inclusive of GST) for all others, Rs.175/- (Inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD/ ESM /DESM candidates, Rs.850/- (Inclusive of GST) for all others
Selection Process for IBPS Recruitment 2024
- Selection process based on Preliminary Examination/ Main Examination/ Interview
- The examination consists of two sections, each carrying a maximum of 40 marks. In the first section, titled "Reasoning," candidates will be tested on their logical and analytical abilities. The second section, "Numerical Ability" or "Quantitative Aptitude" depending on the designation, evaluates candidates' mathematical proficiency.
- Both sections are conducted in English, denoted by an asterisk. The total duration for the exam is 45 minutes, during which candidates must answer a total of 80 questions. For the Officer Scale-I designation, the content and structure remain the same as the general examination.
IBPS Recruitment 2024 Last Date to Apply Online at ibps.in
- Applications are invited via online through the official IBPS website.
- A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in the officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.
- Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees/intimation charges separately for each post. Candidates can apply online only. No other mode of application will be accepted.
